Aiding Independence in Home Environments

At Home Instead Leek & Moorlands, we are committed to supporting individuals in their own homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence.

We look for someone with a flexible schedule, able to work alternate weekends. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive in-house training.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with household tasks, including light cleaning, laundry, and organization.
  2. Help prepare meals or accompany clients to enjoy their favorite dishes.
  3. Provide companionship and social support, engaging with clients' interests and building relationships.
  4. Support personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  5. Accompany clients on outings to local attractions, fostering social connections.
  6. Maintain open communication with clients and their loved ones, delivering exceptional care and comfort.
  7. Record daily notes, promoting effective office communication.
  8. Administer medication and document accordingly.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive in-house training.
  • You must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for various duties.
  • Be dependable and punctual to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Demonstrate a caring and approachable personality.
