Job Title: Pension Governance Expert

The Venn Group is partnering with an organisation that supports the UK parliament to recruit a Members' Pension Specialist on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role will provide governance support to Trustees, focusing on pension governance, administration, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft agendas and minutes for Trustee meetings within set deadlines.
  • Prepare briefing materials and conduct research to ensure up-to-date knowledge in relevant areas.
  • Assist in the annual audit process and preparation of pension scheme accounts.
  • Oversee pension fund expenditure and monitor invoices.
  • Manage communication with Trustees, Members, and former Members.
  • Engage with Members of Parliament on pension matters.

Benefits:
  • Salary: £34,980 per annum (pro rata) + excellent benefits.
  • Working hours: 36 hours per week.
  • Hybrid working pattern: 2 days in the office per week.
