Pension Scheme Governance Role
At Sir Robert McAlpine, we're seeking a part-time Pension Secretary to provide expert governance support to our Trustee Board. This role will ensure effective pension scheme governance and compliance with regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Pension Scheme Manager or Pension Secretary, with a strong understanding of pension scheme governance, compliance, and trustee responsibilities. Relevant certifications in pensions management, governance, or financial services are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quarterly reviews to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Review funding and investment performance, summarising key insights for trustee consideration.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on the scheme's annual report and statutory compliance.
  • Facilitate the annual trustee board effectiveness review and implement improvements.

What We Offer:
