Midwifery Specialist in Diabetes Care

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Midwife to join our team, providing midwifery care for pregnant women with pre-existing Diabetes or Gestational Diabetes. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary professionals to enhance and promote the health and wellbeing of mothers and neonates.
Main Duties- Support the Band 7 Diabetes Lead Midwife in developing evidence-based guidelines, standards of care, and practical advice for women with diabetes or gestational diabetes.
- In partnership with women and their families, provide support with planning and implementation of individualised care pathways, continually assessing, analysing, and determining appropriate courses of action.
- Demonstrable experience in the field of Diabetes and Midwifery.
- Registered Midwife qualification.
- Competent in using IT systems.
We offer a competitive salary of £52,254 - £74,500 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including flexible working opportunities, career development, and a supportive work environment.
