Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust in Newbury, Berkshire.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist school dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to students with additional educational needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) and managing behaviour to support students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive school environment
  • Provide regular progress updates to parents and carers
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to SEN

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN settings
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and experience creating IEPs
  • Proficient in behaviour management and emotional support
  • Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, or other additional needs
  • A clear DBS and legal right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package including a pension scheme and professional development opportunities.
