Role Overview
The IT System Administration and Support Expert will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems at BAE Systems. This position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in IT administration and application support. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide top-notch support to users, and contribute to the development of SOPs for all IT activities.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting regular updates and hotfixes for products across multiple platforms;
  • Collaborating with global development, administration, and product management teams;
  • Implementing and maintaining effective IT systems, including deployment systems;
  • Providing exceptional support to users, addressing their queries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner;
  • Developing and documenting SOPs for all IT activities;
  • Participating in On-Call and after-hours maintenance activities;
  • Engaging in major incidents and root cause remediation.

Requirements
To excel in this position, you should possess:
  • Strong IT administration and application support experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in using Kanban Boards or Software Lifecycle Management Tools;
  • Systems knowledge and skills.
