Job Description

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze current data sources to identify areas for improvement and implement data parsing and normalization techniques to optimize data ingestion and processing.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Analyze network logs and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize quality of service.
  • Monitoring Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement monitoring solutions using industry-leading tools to ensure real-time visibility into system performance.
  • Customized Reporting and Dashboards: Develop customized alerts, dashboards, and reports to track performance metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Search Query Optimization: Develop and optimize search queries, alerts, and reports to improve performance and scalability.
  • Trend Analysis and Data Modeling: Analyze data to detect trends and develop data models to inform business decisions.
  • Splunk Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in creating, developing, and running reports in Splunk.
  • Custom Dashboard and Alert Creation: Create custom dashboards and alerts to provide real-time visibility into system performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to drive business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Log Source Validation and Data Optimization: Validate log sources and indexed data to optimize search criteria and improve data quality.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Document all actions taken and work closely with other teams to support problem management and resolution.
Requirements
  • Background in Desktop Support or Desktop Engineering: Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support or desktop engineering.
  • Technical Background in Operating Systems: Strong technical background in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems commonly deployed in enterprise networks.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong logical and critical thinking abilities for analyzing complex events and identifying solutions.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to influence through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working understanding of Pandas and Spark, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills and relationship building skills.
  • Splunk Experience: Relevant experience with Splunk and familiarity with UberAgent.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to Detail and Time Management: Extreme attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Positive Attitude and Motivation: Highly motivated and positive attitude, with a strong desire to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Experience in Incident and Problem Management: Preferred experience in incident and problem management.
