Financial Reporting Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Assistant to join our team at Focus Resourcing Group Careers. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our clients, including ownership of the Purchase Ledger, Employee Expenses, Credit Cards, and Expense Cards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Purchase Ledger - posting invoices, allocations, queries, and notifying the CFO of payments required (weekly and monthly)
- Employee Expenses - checking, processing, and accounting for VAT correctly, as well as collating monthly expense claims for the Director
- Credit Cards - monthly reconciliation of credit cards, posting entries where required, resolving any queries, and ensuring VAT invoices are obtained where relevant
- Expense Cards - checking all receipts received and uploaded by employees, processing all expenses, accounting for VAT where applicable, and reconciling monthly statements
- Assisting with Sales Ledger/Credit Control to cover holidays and busy periods
- Assisting the CFO with aspects of month-end and management accounts
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Providing support in preparing reports for leadership, including KPIs such as monthly revenue and expenses
