Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgeries, with a focus on postoperative wound management.
- Provide comprehensive wound care to patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgeries and other related procedures.
- Perform detailed assessments of surgical wounds, ensuring early identification of potential complications.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on proper wound care at home, including infection prevention and signs of complications.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during their recovery process.
- Keep updated with the latest developments in cardiothoracic wound care techniques and products.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience in cardiothoracic surgery and wound care settings.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and proactive in patient care.
