We are currently seeking a highly experienced and qualified Lead Early Years Specialist to join Blom and Blom, an independent children's day nursery in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to take on a leadership role, providing ongoing support, development, and progression opportunities.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery, promoting a safe, caring, and stimulating educational environment, supervising and developing staff, and assisting with training and appraisals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Working alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery
  • Promoting and maintaining high standards of care and education
  • Leading and supporting a team of early years professionals
  • Developing and implementing effective training programs

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
