About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Controller to join our team at Mi Talent Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet, minimizing downtime, and optimizing our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fleet Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor all company-powered and non-powered assets, reporting daily Vehicle Off the Road (VOR) and Vehicle Not Available (VNA) internally.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate with third-party support partners on fleet availability, taking ownership of admin functions relating to motor insurance claims.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain good relationships with manufacturers, repairers, and service providers, being the first point of contact for drivers, dealing with defects and repair agents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Close and add defects to the Fleet Management System, provide tyre information for call-outs and rectification, and communicate fleet availability to other departments and stakeholders.
  • Cost Reduction and Efficiency: Work closely with the Fleet Team to reduce cost, fleet downtime, and accidents, calling third-party support partners to chase fleet availability and cost for insurance repairs.
  • Insurance Claims and Compliance: Support the communication process for compliance documents, chase invoices, process purchase orders, and distribute them in a timely manner, and produce monthly report data on Grey Fleet ownership.
  • Insurance KPIs and Reporting: Update insurance KPIs, produce monthly reports, and support any agreed correct actions, promoting the 'Golden Hour' around insurance communication from site level to insurance broker.
Requirements
  • IT Proficiency: IT proficient in Office 365, with experience in Excel, particularly in Pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting, and worksheet designs.
  • Logistics and Fleet Experience: Previous experience working in a fast-paced and high-pressured office environment, with flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively while managing a high volume of work across fleet and operations, often under tight deadlines.
Working Hours and Salary

Full-time position with a shift of 4 on-4 off rotation, averaging 44 hours per 6 months, with a salary of £30k basic + £1k performance bonus.
