About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Stirling, supporting a service user living in their own home with a Mental Health disability.

The successful candidate will provide support with household tasks, maintenance of tenancy, and provision of nutritious meals, while also offering advice on healthy eating.

No personal care is required for this role, as the service user is able to manage their daily needs independently.

About the Service User

Our service user is a young man who values routine and requires consistent communication. He is able to communicate verbally and understand what people are saying, but requires support to maintain his health and wellbeing.

He enjoys activities such as walking, cinema trips, and social outings, and requires support to participate in these activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with household tasks and maintenance of tenancy
  • Provide nutritious meals and advice on healthy eating
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities
  • Support the service user to maintain his health and wellbeing
  • Manage behaviour which challenges in accordance with proactive and reactive strategies
