Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our elite Legal team at Rotork Plc. As a key member of our compact team, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier cross-border legal counsel to our global enterprise.

Your responsibilities will include advising on a wide range of matters such as commercial contracts, litigation, data protection, employment and HR issues, mergers and acquisitions, internal restructuring, property deals, and intellectual property issues. You will be expected to provide solutions to business challenges in a commercially savvy and straightforward manner, driving efficiencies and shaping business strategies.

As a direct report to the Head of Legal for EMEA and India, you will have a daily impact on the business, ensuring that no two days are alike. You will engage with the Management Board and build relationships at all levels through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

Experience requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with 4+ years PQE.
  • Must have solid experience in general commercial contracts. Additional experience in data protection, employment or disputes/litigation is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in providing consistent and clear risk-based advice in an in-house environment is essential.

  • Is commercially aware, bright, confident and proactive.
  • Can work autonomously but be a team player.
  • Is calm under pressure and organises workload to be as efficient as possible.
  • Has excellent attention to detail with a tenacious approach to best practice.
