About the Role
Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and passionate Consultant in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and treatment of children and young people with eating disorders.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and address the therapeutic needs of patients and their families, contributing to the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, including paediatrics, nursing, systemic family therapy, psychology, and other therapeutic specialties.
- Contribute to the advancement of our service, particularly in initiatives for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and day care provision for Anorexia Nervosa.
- Develop a personal development plan, supporting lifelong learning and growth, and participate in opportunities for professional development, including pursuing further qualifications, research, or involvement in our transformation initiatives.
