Job Title: Group Leader, Risk Management

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader, Risk Management to join our team at The Ardonagh Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in managing and mitigating risks across various business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead a team of risk management professionals in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across commercial and personal lines.
  • Collaborate with the Broking Manager to develop and implement business growth strategies.
  • Monitor and report on risk management performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements, including FCA regulations and data protection laws.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in risk management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations, data protection laws, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
