Electrical Supervisor

Vital Human Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities and Engineering department, you will be responsible for supervising contracts and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise contracts to ensure effective and efficient delivery, meeting customer requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct auditing and inspections to maintain high engineering standards and ensure compliance with quality systems.
  • Manage NICEIC certification and liaise with regional managers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee CAFM system and audit engineer tablets to ensure compliance.
  • Produce quotations for small projects and extra works.
  • Ensure all operatives have necessary resources and information to perform duties safely.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Manage out-of-hours support and escalation procedures.
  • Continuity of operative rotas and ensure coverage during holidays and call-outs.
  • Support projects, small works, and reactive works requests.
  • Provide support for statutory compliance and planned maintenance activities.
  • Oversee NICEIC administration for the contract.

Commercial Responsibilities:

  • Provide costs for capital projects and plant replacement schemes.
  • Assist in appointing sub-contractors.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent customer interface skills and communication skills.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and IT documentation skills.
  • Team player with flexible and adaptable skills.

Qualifications:

  • Electrically qualified with minimum C+G 2391, Electrical test and Inspection.
  • Desired: Previous supervisory experience and AP qualified.
  • Competent fault finding on BMS and Control Systems, PAT Testing, and Electrical Servicing.
