Role Overview

This pivotal role involves overseeing all vocational and academic qualification programmes of NASC and CISRS, ensuring they align with strategic business goals. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing innovative training programs that meet industry standards and address evolving needs of the scaffolding and access sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing a strategic vision for NASC and CISRS training and education programs
  • Programme Development and Oversight: Leading the development and implementation of new vocational and academic qualification programs.
  • Quality Assurance: Establishing, monitoring, and analysing key quality control metrics for training centres and course delivery.
  • Promotion and Business Development: Supporting the promotion of CISRS training programs both within the UK and internationally.
  • Team Management: Managing the Training Manager and Careers Manager, and collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders.
About the Role
  • Significant experience in managing vocational and academic training programs, preferably within the construction or scaffolding sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience of working effectively with external partners in the education sector, with a particular emphasis on further education colleges / higher education institutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific qualification standards, training requirements, and best practices.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing course materials and ensuring quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
