Austin Fraser is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our organisation and drive business success. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial, operational, and people management functions.
Main Responsibilities- Develop Commercial Strategies: Create and implement commercial strategies that align with business goals and market demands.
- Grow Business: Identify new market opportunities and expand on existing practices to drive business growth.
- Manage Budget: Oversee the preparation and management of the organisation's budget to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Work with Sales and Marketing Teams: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective campaigns that drive business performance.
- Lead High-Performing Teams: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Nurture Talent: Identify and nurture talent within the organisation, ensuring employees have the skills and opportunities needed for career advancement.
- Enhance Culture: Promote a positive workplace culture by implementing initiatives that increase employee satisfaction and retention.
- Set Performance Goals: Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Improve Processes: Oversee the development and implementation of efficient operational processes that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Allocate Resources: Ensure optimal allocation of resources, including staff, equipment, and materials, to meet business objectives.
- Identify Risks: Identify potential risks in operations and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Deliver Projects: Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Implement and maintain quality standards across all deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Refine Processes: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery by regularly reviewing and refining processes.
- Experience: Experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record in leading commercial, operational, and people management functions.
- Salary: Estimated £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Benefits: 33 days holiday, private health care, annual bonus, 7% matched pension, and relocation package if required.
