Key Responsibilities

People

  • Take full responsibility for the building and the people in the absence of the Assistant and General Manager during the Night shift
  • Lead the team to create 'can't wait to return' experiences for our guests
  • Lead the team of house hosts
  • Ensure that the team are managing reservation enquiries (e-mail, phone & in person) with a kind & considered approach
  • Be the 'in the know' person for guests enquiries & questions
  • Lead team meetings with constructive feedback to improve operational performance and guest experiences
  • Ensure that the team are taking payments and balancing the books at the end of the day
  • Ensure the team completes property patrols to ensure safety & security
  • Be accountable for the safety of your property
  • Deal with housekeeping and maintenance during the night shift
  • Be initiative-led when dealing with challenging situations or guest complaints making sure our guests leave happy
  • Be confident working alone and be a happy, positive influence when working as part of a team
  • Be part of the management team in all aspects of the day-to-day operation
