Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:
Take ownership of customer interactions and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Product Expertise:
Develop in-depth knowledge of all product lines sold by the business and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Pre-Qualification:
Pre-qualify requests for quotations with calls where appropriate and ensure accurate data entry into CRM systems.

Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute both branch and nationwide sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of sales pipeline, customer interactions, and sales performance.

Cold Calling:
Comfortably call non-buying, turned down, and new customers to arrange initial meetings and build relationships.

Promotion:
Actively promote product benefits and value statements on LinkedIn and other social media platforms.

Account Management:

Take ownership of assigned accounts, monitor quotes, orders, and delivery issues, and visit customers regularly to stay informed about their business.


Qualifications:

Education:
HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering (Not essential)

Pressure Management:
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Personality:
Friendly, approachable, and enjoys speaking to people on the phone.

Time Management:
Excellent time management skills and the ability to regulate time under stressful conditions.

IT Skills:
Proficiency in IT, especially with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Communication:
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
