Job Title: General Nursing Professional (Prison Care)

We are seeking a dedicated and caring nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a prison setting. As a General Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients, while also contributing to the rehabilitation of service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage patient needs and assess their requirements in accordance with specific standard operating procedures and national policy.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to promote patient wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in Primary Care services, either as a band 5 nurse or a student nurse within a prison in the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up-to-date with current nursing practices.
  • Undertake regular mandatory training and maintain CPD records.
