We are currently recruiting for a Depot Project Coordinator to join our team in the Bristol depot. This role will involve leading the mobilization for new projects, including development of deliverables such as resource plans, work breakdown structures, tooling requirements, risk register, Bill of Material(s), Specification Review – all in accordance with company Heavy Maintenance Mobilization procedure.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a Depot Project Coordinator to join our team in the Bristol depot. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with experience in the rail industry.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective internal and external working relationships that deliver all key elements of Heavy Maintenance contracts.
  • Recruit and develop Project Managers, Engineers, and Planners to support projects.
  • Provision of regular management information and Key Performance Indicators that report on key project deliverables.
  • Undertake and complete annual Performance Development Reviews with direct reports, in a timely manner.
  • Support the bid team as required with input to support potential new work opportunities and contracts.
  • Deliver and maintain excellent standards of housekeeping.
  • Manage customer interfaces including leading Contract Review Meetings.
  • Deliver proactive customer management identifying and developing possible opportunities for maximizing revenues and cost savings.

The salary for this role is £53,322 per annum, plus a range of benefits including pension, healthcare cover, life cover, and more.
