Are you a seasoned procurement professional looking for a new challenge in the life sciences sector? We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Oxford or Dartford.

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and processes that drive best value and sustainable procurement practices. You will work closely with our Senior Procurement Manager to deliver project procurement objectives and requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance management and feedback.
  • Supporting a team of procurement professionals, including training and development, and recruitment to provide an effective procurement service for the project.
  • Being responsible and accountable for the procurement process of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services, in accordance with the project procurement strategy and project commitments.
  • Providing management information and reports in accordance with project requirements.
  • Developing professional, robust, and effective working relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors, and service providers who will provide best value to the project.
  • Sub-contract procurement.
