Supply Chain Opportunities
Oxford Instruments Plc is seeking a talented Materials Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts and drive supplier development. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that meet the needs of our manufacturing organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop strategies to meet those needs.
Your expertise will be instrumental in making make vs buy decisions and leading continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for interpreting design drawings, identifying challenging manufacturing aspects, and collaborating with suppliers to implement scalable and flexible work processes.
To excel in this position, you should have previous experience in a similar supply chain role, specifically in supplier development within a complex manufacturing environment. You should also be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Oxford Instruments Plc offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic industry.
