We are looking for an experienced Business Support Administrator to join our Estates and Facilities Directorate at Durham University.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team and wider University, delivering essential services and achieving strategic objectives.

As a Business Support Administrator, you will be responsible for managing staff and student processes and systems, including issuing car parking permits, raising and receipting orders, supporting meetings, developing and maintaining records, and ensuring a professional service standard is maintained at all times.

The Estates and Facilities Directorate provides a range of essential services to Durham University and is responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing the infrastructure and building fabric of our campuses.

We are looking for a team player with a flexible attitude, drive, and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to our team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Estates and Facilities Directorate and wider University
  • Managing staff and student processes and systems, including car parking permits, orders, meetings, and records
  • Maintaining a professional service standard at all times
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver essential services and achieve strategic objectives
