Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Implementing a school's vision, aims, priorities, targets, curriculum policies, and action plans in relation to classroom practice.
  • Statutory curriculum requirements and the requirements for assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils' attainment and progress.
  • The characteristics of high-quality teaching and learning as well as strategies to improve and sustain high standards of teaching and learning leading to achievement for all pupils.
  • The implications of the code of practice of special educational needs for teaching and learning.

We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including life assurance, a pension scheme, and access to a wide range of health, wellbeing, and insurance benefits. We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and young people and all applicants will be subject to social media checks and a fully enhanced DBS.

We are a leading provider of care and education to pupils, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties. Our unique approach sets us apart, and we are proud to say that we have been certified as a 'Great Place to Work' for the fifth year running.
