About the Role

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in a school setting.

The ideal candidate will have a calm and reassuring nature, a positive attitude, and a flexible and enthusiastic approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the class teacher to support children with their learning
  • Manage the behaviour of pupils while they undertake their work and ensure a constructive and positive environment is maintained
  • De-escalate situations within the classroom in a correct and safe manner
  • Carry out small group work and work with children with additional needs
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies
