Job Title: Cloud and Data Center Director

About the Role:

Eisai EMEA is seeking a highly experienced Cloud and Data Center Director to lead the design, engineering, and development of globally optimized IT infrastructure cloud platforms. The successful candidate will own cloud hosting environments, including data center strategies, ensuring their implementations address business strategies and priorities across various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the design, engineering, and development of globally optimized IT infrastructure cloud platforms.
  • Own cloud hosting environments, including data center strategies.
  • Ensure cloud strategy is integrated with Eisai's strategic principles and internal standards.
  • Provide direction input for technology selection, system integration, and governance across cloud enterprise platforms and on-premises computing platforms.
  • Lead the enterprise through the optimization and migration to new cloud technologies.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in IT platform services domain, including extensive working experience in Cloud & Data Center platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect on cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/Google.
  • Advanced certification with one or more cloud providers.
  • Effective leadership skills, including team building, consensus building, and achieving goals through others.
  • Strong track record of effective cross-functional team collaboration and execution.
