About the Role

In this critical position, you will play a vital role in providing safe and secure transportation services to patients, while also delivering high-quality care and support. You will work closely with our experienced trainers to develop your skills and knowledge in patient transport and care, ensuring that you have the necessary expertise to excel in this role.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment. You will be empathetic, understanding, and able to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

This position offers a competitive salary of £12.14 per hour, paid at a blended rate for day, night, and weekend shifts. Additionally, you will receive 20% extra per hour for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities, supporting ward staff.

To succeed in this role, you will need to maintain an Enhanced DBS certificate (paid for by the company) and hold a valid Full UK Manual Driving License. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this field, including patient care, de-escalation techniques, physical intervention, handcuff training, and first aid.

Requirements
