About the Role

Goldcrest Post London is a leading post-production facility seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our picture department. As a Colourist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of senior colourists and alongside our editorial team to undertake various support functions within the creative picture post workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare timelines for colour grading sessions using DaVinci Resolve.
  • Set up grading theatres and rooms for colourists, including routing, monitoring, projection, and playback of media.
  • Match new shots into timelines and colour trace as directed by senior colourists.
  • Grade deliverables as directed by senior colourists.
  • Communicate with senior colourists and producers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide additional support with roto work and advanced tracking.
  • Create viewing files for clients and perform quality control on created files.
  • Assist colourists with general tasks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of DaVinci Resolve, excellent communication skills, and be personable, highly motivated, enthusiastic, organised, a great team player, and calm and resourceful in pressurised situations.
