Post Production Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Animation Producer to join our team at Publicis Groupe. As a key member of our post-production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the animation process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with freelance post-production talent, including editors, colourists, motion designers, sound engineers, and VFX artists.
- Scope post-production projects, negotiate costs with suppliers, and ensure costs are aligned with the budget while maintaining a healthy profit margin.
- Build and manage post-production schedules, implement flexible attitudes to accommodate last-minute changes, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Quality control every round of edit to ensure it meets the original brief and all feedback has been actioned.
- Track costs, spend, and profit on projects, updating the EP with progress.
- Maintain and build solid relationships with agency producers and creatives, ensuring a positive experience with Black Sheep Studios.
- Absorb and understand individual client brand guidelines and watch outs.
- Manage the BSS Edit Suites, ensuring a booking system is in place and all assets are saved to the server and final films are saved to Google Drive.
- Assist the Shoot Producer with sourcing hard drives and liaising with the DIT to ensure the Editor has all necessary information.
- Attend relevant industry events and talks to grow knowledge of post-production trends.
- A thorough understanding of post-production processes, from offline to online, for scoping and scheduling.
- A network of freelance post-production talent and the ability to bring new talent to the table.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A positive and flexible attitude with a flair for problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of all Adobe Creative Suite.
- A keen eye for detail to catch errors or missed feedback during the QC process.
- An up-to-date understanding of post-production rates and costs for accurate scoping.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure post-production talent within budget while maintaining a healthy profit margin.
- A high level of motivation and a positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude.
