About the Role

This position is part of our BBC Extend programme, which aims to provide opportunities for disabled people. Key Responsibilities

As an Editor, you will report to the Head of Post Production and be responsible for providing day-to-day creative and technical services. You will:

  • Provide in-house online editing of on-air promos for transmission across the BBC's branded services in Europe and Africa, ensuring technical compliance and delivery in line with transmission specifications.
  • Repurpose English videos and artwork for Studios' key brands, reframing for different social outputs and foreign language markets.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience and awareness of post-production equipment, procedures, and broadcast technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop to broadcast and social standard, with a strong technical mind.
  • Comfortable building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders, internal clients, and technical and non-technical team members.
