About this role

The Product Lead will be responsible for defining and maximising the value creation from the product team, representing the business sponsor by prioritising and planning the product backlog, defining epics and creating user stories.

This position is critical to Western Power achieving the DER Roadmap actions to realise a future where DER is integral to a safe, reliable and efficient electricity system.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the business.
  • Seasoned professional with extensive expertise and knowledge having worked as a Program or Project Manager for a minimum of 8 + years with demonstrated experience in high value/highly complex projects.
  • More than 2 years' experience in a product owner or product management role.
  • Demonstrated success delivering project outcomes including design, development, and implementation.
  • Demonstrated 2+ experience working in or leading projects using an Agile methodology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in influencing senior management and guiding working groups.
  • Prior experience in developing product strategy, product development roadmap and process success in delivering to a plan.
  • Clear decision-making ability and proven success in balancing multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure and meeting deadlines.
