About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead our bid for World Pride 2030. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in large-scale, international projects or bids, with extensive experience in strategic planning and execution at a senior level. They will possess a deep understanding of global LGBTQ+ issues and the international pride movement, with exceptional cultural competence and demonstrated passion for LGBTQ+ rights. In addition to leading the bid process, the Project Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive event delivery plan, defining measurable outcomes for the bid process, and establishing effective working relationships with key stakeholders. We are looking for a visionary leader who can translate ideas into actionable plans and inspire diverse audiences on a global scale.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event delivery plan that aligns with Pride in London's strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and commitment to the bid process
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to demonstrate financial viability
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, sponsors, and stakeholders
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, communications, and promotional activities to support the bid

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of leadership in large-scale, international projects or bids, with extensive experience in strategic planning and execution at a senior level. You will also need to possess a deep understanding of global LGBTQ+ issues and the international pride movement, with exceptional cultural competence and demonstrated passion for LGBTQ+ rights. In addition, you will need to have a strong background in large-scale fundraising and securing major international sponsorships, as well as excellent diplomatic skills and political acumen. We are looking for a visionary leader who can translate ideas into actionable plans and inspire diverse audiences on a global scale.
