Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  5. Actively contribute to QA support functions, including triage, issue resolution, and production release testing.

A Day in the Life:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with our development team to ensure the quality of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on release timelines and test readiness, and develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of our products. You will also evolve team methodologies for implementing, testing, and deploying solutions, and prepare and distribute test reports and release readiness reports for stakeholder review.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who has a strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles. You should have experience working closely with development and business teams to understand requirements and communicate the impact of issues. You should also have strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously, and synthesise results. Additionally, you should have experience using test case management tools, issue management tools, and development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer candidates with experience in wireless connectivity technologies, such as WIFI, Bluetooth, and ZWave. You should also have knowledge of IoT device development or testing, specifically Home Security Systems. You should be able to demonstrate creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
