Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on release timelines and test readiness.
  2. Develop test plans and test cases mapping to product requirements and technical implementations.
  3. Evolve team methodologies for implementing, testing, and deploying solutions.
  4. Prepare and distribute test reports and release readiness reports for stakeholder review.
  5. Actively contribute to QA support functions, including triage, issue resolution, and production release testing.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  2. Multiple years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  3. Experience with embedded testing and automation of UI and API tests.
  4. Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience working closely with development and business teams to understand requirements and communicate impact of issues.
  2. Knowledge of wireless connectivity technologies, such as WIFI, Bluetooth, and ZWave.
  3. Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
