Job Title: Lead Wayfinding Designer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Wayfinding Designer to join our team at Calibrate Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our design practice, you will be responsible for leading the wayfinding design process, managing a team of designers, and delivering high-quality designs that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the wayfinding strategy in collaboration with our Managing Director
  • Manage a team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead and deliver design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Produce and supervise designs, drawings, schedules, guidelines, and specifications across all design stages
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead the bid process to secure new projects
  • Project manage multiple projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and programming
  • Review and provide quality assurance of project outputs to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team to create marketing collateral that showcases our design expertise
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Wayfinding Designer, leading projects and teams
  • Previous experience in preparing tender responses, including proposal writing, costings, and programming
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines
  • Passion for wayfinding design and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong understanding of design principles and best practices
