Lead Wayfinding Designer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead Wayfinding Designer to join our team at Calibrate Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our design practice, you will be responsible for leading the wayfinding design process, managing a team of designers, and delivering high-quality projects from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the wayfinding strategy in collaboration with the Managing Director
  • Manage a team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead and deliver design projects, including concept development, design execution, and project management
  • Produce and supervise designs, drawings, schedules, guidelines, and specifications across all design stages
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead the bid process
  • Project manage multiple projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and programming
  • Review and provide quality assurance of project outputs
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create marketing collateral

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Wayfinding Designer, leading projects and teams
  • Previous experience in preparing tender responses, including proposal writing, costings, and programming
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, managing resources and programming
  • Passion for wayfinding design and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an engaging and approachable manner
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
