Lead Our Drainage Infrastructure Team

We are seeking a talented and experienced Drainage Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of civil engineering design on a range of challenging projects across the infrastructure sector.

As a Drainage Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the leadership of our Drainage Infrastructure team, working closely with our Associate Director to deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of civil engineering design on projects across the infrastructure sector
  • Assist in the leadership of the Drainage Infrastructure team
  • Work closely with the Associate Director to ensure project delivery meets the highest standards
  • Manage concurrent projects and prioritize tasks to ensure effective client delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with statutory bodies such as Natural Resources Wales and Environment Agency

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in surface and foul water design and/or construction to Sewers for Adoption and Design Manual for Roads and Bridges
  • Awareness of National Planning Policy and Infrastructure design requirements relating to flood risk management
  • Ability to manage a team of people with varying levels of experience and provide technical support and resource planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Civil Engineering degree - Preferably a Masters
  • Have or be close to completion of Professional Qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management
