Lead Our Drainage Infrastructure Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drainage Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of Civil Engineering design on a range of challenging projects across the infrastructure sector, with a focus on Sustainable Urban Drainage and conventional surface water drainage design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surface and foul water design and/or construction, with experience in managing concurrent projects and prioritizing tasks to ensure effective client delivery. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of Civil Engineering design on a range of challenging projects
  • Manage concurrent projects and prioritize tasks to ensure effective client delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with statutory bodies such as Natural Resources Wales and Environment Agency
  • Work closely with the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Contribute to the development of the team's skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in surface and foul water design and/or construction
  • Strong background in Civil Engineering design and project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Chartership support and professional institution membership fees
