Lead Drainage Engineer

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our esteemed client's growing team in Cardiff.
Our client, a well-respected multidisciplinary consultancy with over three decades of experience, offers a diverse range of services encompassing Civil and Structural Engineering. They are committed to fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment that encourages professional development and innovation.
About the Role:- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Drainage/Infrastructure Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Contribute to detailed design work across various infrastructure projects, leveraging your expertise in drainage systems and best practices.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and exceeding expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively utilize relevant software tools to streamline design processes and deliver accurate and efficient solutions.
- Contribute to a wide range of projects spanning diverse sectors, gaining valuable experience and expanding your professional network.
- Possess Chartered Engineer status or be in the final stages of achieving it.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in drainage engineering within a consultancy setting.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in utilizing key software programs essential for drainage design and analysis.
- Possess a thorough understanding of SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) and SAB (Sewage Adoption Byelaws).
