GP for PCN Practice

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team at Sutton Primary Care Networks. As a GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services to patients in Sutton and the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- In consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols, develop care plans for health management.
- Provide counselling and health education.
- Make appropriate and timely referral of patients for further opinion and treatment.
- Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards, including the recording of appropriate information for the Quality and Outcomes Framework and Enhanced Services.
- Appropriate medicine prescribing for both acute and repeat requirement in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary and guidelines whenever this is clinically appropriate.
- Timely assessment of incoming electronic and paper correspondence relating to both patient and non-patient information as required. Using the appropriate electronic systems.
- Participate in training plans of GP registrar, medical and nursing students as required.

- Full registration with GMC.

- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
