About the Role

Care & Custody - A Mitie Company is seeking a skilled Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team. As a dynamic and innovative healthcare professional, you will have the opportunity to redirect your career and pursue a challenging and rewarding role within the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality healthcare to detainees in custody suites, working collaboratively with the Police to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals.
  • Provide exemplary care and support to detainees, taking pride in being part of a team that shares a vision of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
  • Develop clinical, forensic, and broader skills, with opportunities for progression and extensive training.
  • Work in a team rota pattern, with fixed shift working and rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
  • Participate in a dynamic and innovative pathway, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Person Specification

  • RN, RGN, or RMN with dual registration, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field.
  • Driving Licence required.
  • Must have RTW in the UK, lived in the UK, British Passport, or ILR for 3 years, with no gaps out of country more than 3 months.
  • All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting.
