About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Forensic Nurse Examiner to join our multidisciplinary team at Nurture Health and Care Ltd. As a Sexual Offence Nurse Examiner, you will play a critical role in providing assessments and evidence that inform legal outcomes for children, young people, and adults who have been exposed to sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform holistic, forensic clinical assessments with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Interact sensitively, ensuring a trauma-informed approach to care.
  • Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality in documentation and evidence handling.
  • Co-produce individual management plans tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Provide testimony in court, contributing to the integrity of legal proceedings.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development as part of our Novice to Expert programme.
  • Lead initiatives, mentor peers, and engage in programmes designed to enhance professional skills and service delivery.

  • Competitive salary of £42,000 per annum starting salary with full training given, rising to £45,000 once certain qualifications and training have been achieved.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurses with experience or an interest in forensic and legal medicine and a minimum of 3 years post qualification.
  • Committed to undertaking a comprehensive competency framework.
  • Must have or be willing to work towards master's level study, complete educational courses and work towards being able to provide testimony to court.
