About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated Newly Qualified Social Workers to join our Children and Young People's Service in various locations across Suffolk. As a Newly Qualified Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children and young people to assess their needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and services
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people, and their families
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance your skills and knowledge
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £32,076 per annum (rising to £34,834 per annum) (pro rata for part-time)
  • A joining payment of £1,500, plus a retention payment of £4,000 upon successful completion of the ASYE programme
  • Up to 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum (pro rata for part-time)
  • Access to a relocation package of up to £8,000, a car leasing scheme, and a welcome loan of £2,000 for all new Social Workers moving to Suffolk
  • Free on-site car parking in all council buildings

Requirements
  • A relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
