Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Estates Manager in meeting strategic and operational objectives within NHS Tayside.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, mandatory, safety, environmental, quality standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Design, project manage, and implement delegated projects.
  • Deputise for the Senior Estates Manager as required.
  • Maintain all plant, equipment, estates division transport, and grounds at NHS Tayside hospitals and healthcare sites in a satisfactory operational condition.
  • Provide cost-effective maintenance services to agreed quality, statutory, safety, and environmental performance standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and travel between NHS sites as necessary.
  • Manage revenue and capital budgets allocated under delegated authority and oversee estates staff under remit.

Requirements:

  • Participation in an on-call rota.
  • Ability to travel between NHS sites.
  • Achievement of mandatory inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
