HSE Oversight Manager - Nights

Location: Dinorwig, Wales (Accommodation provided if required)

Salary: £32.50 per hour

Estimated Annual Salary: £67,000

Job Overview

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced HSE Oversight Manager to support the safe installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure in Dinorwig, Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental measures on the project site
  • Coordinate HSE matters with the project team and liaise with other project locations
  • Monitor the project's Health, Safety, and Environmental Plan, working closely with the Site Manager
  • Provide on-the-ground HSE support to hands-on staff as needed
  • Support with the implementation of key safety processes and rules at the site, including follow-up training
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings to engage staff on relevant HSE topics
  • Prepare and deliver regular Health and Safety reports to the Site Manager
  • Issue Health and Safety Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) on-site to both internal teams and subcontractors if necessary
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Certificate or higher HSE qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years of HSE advisory experience in the UK
  • In-depth knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Ability to lead HSE training, meetings, and site inspections effectively
  • Suitable health and safety training, e.g., CSCS or similar, is required for all staff
