Job Title: Commercial Contract Analyst

As a key member of the Marks and Spencer team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of value for our business. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with our key partners, ensuring that our supplier contracts are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Supplier Relationship and Commercial Managers in the management of existing supplier contracts.
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure the prime technology partner completes their obligations for populating and maintaining key contract management artefacts.
  • Coordinate contract variation, renewal, and termination activities, including collating partner feedback and presenting it back to suppliers.
  • Assess commercial risks and issues, and evaluate the impact of proposed contractual changes.

Requirements:

  • Commercial and financial competence.
  • Experience in commercial contract analysis.
  • Strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills.
  • Business knowledge, including commercial awareness, economic, and industry-specific knowledge.
