Traffic Management Specialist

FM Conway seeks a skilled Traffic Management Specialist to join its Traffic Light division, based in Stevenage. This full-time, permanent position involves day shifts, night shifts, and the opportunity to work on a range of services, including setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management. As a Traffic Management Specialist at FM Conway, you will be entitled to a competitive salary, a weekend uplift of £10 per shift, and a wide range of benefits, including career development opportunities and a company pension.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Setting up temporary traffic lights as required
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic
• Maintaining and removing traffic lights within the required timeframe
• Managing traffic flow at temporary traffic lights and ensuring public compliance
• Working closely with management and crews, taking instructions from the management team
• Ensuring sites are safe, conducting on-site assessments, and taking appropriate action in emergency situations
• Being on call, out of hours, on a rota basis if required
Required skills and experience:
• Knowledge of traffic management operations
• A valid CSCS card
• One of the following traffic management tickets: Lantra –, M1/2, M5, M6, 12AB Operatives, and LTMO / TMF
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings, and awareness of RAMS
