About the Role

The Head of Finance will play a critical role in guiding the financial direction of the company, ensuring long-term financial health and success. This includes overseeing all aspects of financial activity, including accounting, reporting, process improvement, audit preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and success
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
  • Manage the financial team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective financial operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record as a successful Head of Finance or Financial Controller. They will be a self-starter who is hands-on, highly organized, and able to make data-driven decisions. An uncompromising level of honesty and integrity is required, as well as strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
